See below the first appeal in a series of messages we will be sending to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). These messages are great – coming from activists and advocates around the country and calling for strong regulation of payday, auto title and installment lenders.
The CFPB is on the front lines of Payday Lending Reform and we need CFPB Director Cordray to stand with us. The voices of payday lenders, debt collectors, big banks and their allies are loud, but we can be louder.

We are consumer advocates and faith leaders, think tanks and community service providers, borrowers and those invested in improving our communities. We represent people from all walks of life in communities around the country. We all want to stop the debt trap and end the abuses of payday lending.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is on the front lines of Payday Lending Reform; with your help, we can stop predatory lending practices and improve people’s lives and economic security.
